Description

This role is an exciting maternity cover contract opportunity for an individual looking to kick start their career in the wonderful world of merchandising with Whittard of Chelsea. With 3 days a week in the beautiful Didcot offices, this role would see you joining the brand that is world renowned for their specialist teas, coffees, and hot chocolates.

Whittard sell fan favourite products across the UK and internationally, continuously growing their passionate customer base. In this maternity cover role, for 9 months, you will be supporting the merchandising activities across the Flavoured Drinks, Ceramics, Equipment and Confectionery categories.

Responsibilities
  • Updating weekly departmental sales and stock reports.
  • Supporting the Commercial Planning team through ad hoc analysis and day to day management of intake.
  • Managing store and web stock levels.
  • Dealing with purchase orders, store queries and allocation of stock.
Qualifications
  • An interest in starting a Merchandising career.
  • Confident with Excel with good organisational and accuracy skills.
  • A data focused mindset with good time management skills.

Merchandising for Whittard of Chelsea would see you starting your career in a company with multiple channels to market, so ideal to get some great training from an experienced team and learn in a fast paced environment. With a large and loyal customer base it is vital the product levels are in good supply to meet customer needs and you will work alongside the Senior Merchandiser to support this. Your support in this role will assist the work of a talented and passionate team, allowing you to learn from the best and catapult your career into the rewarding world of merchandising as an MAA.
